Sourced primarily from Brazil, this metamorphic rock begins as a pure sandstone. Over millions of years, intense heat and tectonic pressure recrystallize the quartz grains, creating a dense, durable surface. It typically features a warm beige or cream background with flowing gray veining and subtle gold undertones.

Due to its high quartz content, the surface often has a natural crystalline shimmer that reflects light beautifully, adding depth to any room. It mimics the aesthetic of delicate natural stone countertops but possesses a geological structure that makes it far harder and more resilient.
