About Chantilly

Chantilly is an exquisite natural quartzite primarily quarried from the bedrock of Brazil. It is celebrated for its luminous, creamy white to soft ivory background, elegantly traversed by striking dark grey and charcoal veins that typically flow in a horizontal, linear pattern. Some slabs even reveal subtle navy-blue lines, adding a unique sense of movement. As a metamorphic stone evolved from sandstone, it boasts a Mohs hardness of 7, making it significantly more resistant to scratches and heat than traditional marble. Interestingly, its name and soft, swirling aesthetic are inspired by the delicate appearance of chantilly cream.
