Granite
Costa Esmeralda
Costa Esmeralda presents a vivid blue-green base color, closely resembling the appearance of turquoise gemstone. The surface is animated by white quartz streaks and patches, alongside golden rusty brown to ochre veins that create a strong sense of movement. The overall texture is medium to coarse grained, typical of granite, with occasional speckled feldspar highlights adding subtle variation. This stone is quarried from the mountainous region of Khorasan, near Mashhad, Iran. Its distinctive turquoise hue comes from microcrystalline feldspars and minor copper rich minerals within the composition. The material also contains iron oxide inclusions which contribute to the warm vein colors. Due to its low porosity, it is straightforward to maintain with regular care.
