Granite
Nova
Nova, also known as Nova Maori, is a dramatic Brazilian granite characterized by its deep ebony background and striking ivory veining. These grayish-white lines intersect across the slab in various widths and lengths, creating a pattern reminiscent of chalk drawings on a blackboard. As an igneous rock formed from cooling magma, its durability makes it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas like kitchen countertops and flooring. Interestingly, the stone often features microfissures that have naturally welded back together over millions of years under intense subterranean heat and pressure, adding to its unique geological story without compromising its structural integrity.
