Marble
Silver River
Silver River is a sophisticated marble primarily quarried in the Izmir region of Turkey. It is defined by a moody pewter-gray to dark silver background, dramatically intersected by bold, linear black and maroon veining that resembles the movement of a rushing river. This high-contrast stone often features warm undertones of beige and rust, making it an exceptionally versatile choice for book-matched feature walls, luxury flooring, and contemporary countertops. Geologically, it is noted for its high density and hardness, which allows it to take an incredibly high-gloss polish. Interestingly, while it is most famous for its Turkish "Silver Roots" variety, its intricate, branch-like patterns are often compared to an impressionist oil painting.
