This lot is a new arrival at our Los Angeles yard.
Lot 5067 is a 31-slab run of 2 cm Calacatta Arabescato Vagli marble, from Italy, in a honed finish. The slabs measure about 126″ × 78″, with 9 slabs available and 22 on hold at our Los Angeles yard.
This slab
The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 126″ × 78″, about 68 square feet. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is white. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Italy.
The honed finish is smooth and matte, without a high gloss. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

Where it works
For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed.
The material
Marble is a metamorphic stone, recrystallized from limestone, and it is valued for veining and a luminous surface. It is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or quartzite, so wine, citrus, and strong cleaners can etch a polish. That is why it is a classic for bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, and walls, and for kitchens when the owner wants the look and will live with a natural patina. A honed face shows etching less than a high polish. Vein direction should be planned on the actual slabs before fabrication.
About Calacatta Arabescato Vagli
Calacatta Arabescato Vagli is a prestigious Italian marble extracted from the Apuan Alps in Tuscany. This exquisite stone is defined by its luminous white background and a sophisticated brecciated pattern, featuring cloudy white clasts suspended in a network of grey and charcoal veining, often accented by subtle hints of gold or amber. Its dynamic, swirling movement makes it a premier choice for high-end interior applications, including book-matched feature walls, luxury countertops, and elegant flooring. Geologically, its unique structure is formed through the natural fusion of mineral fragments over millions of years, resulting in a durable and artistic surface that bridges the gap between classic refinement and bold, contemporary design.
