This polished marble is Giallo Versilia, in gold, cut at 2 cm and quarried in Turkey. Lot K5064 runs from 133″ × 70″ to 134″ × 71″, with 15 slabs available at our Los Angeles yard.
This slab
The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 134″ × 71″, about 66 square feet. Sizes across the lot run from 133″ × 70″ to 134″ × 71″. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is gold. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Turkey.
The polished finish is reflective and lets the color read clearly. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

Where it works
For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed.
The material
Marble is a metamorphic stone, recrystallized from limestone, and it is valued for veining and a luminous surface. It is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or quartzite, so wine, citrus, and strong cleaners can etch a polish. That is why it is a classic for bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, and walls, and for kitchens when the owner wants the look and will live with a natural patina. A honed face shows etching less than a high polish. Vein direction should be planned on the actual slabs before fabrication.
About Giallo Versilia
Giallo Versilia is a distinguished marble originating from the rich geological landscapes of Turkey. This natural stone is celebrated for its warm, golden palette, often featuring a creamy base accented by intricate yellow and honey-toned veining. Its sophisticated appearance makes it a preferred choice for high-end interior applications, including luxury countertops, elegant flooring, and statement backsplashes. Characterized by a high polishability, Giallo Versilia reflects light beautifully, adding a sense of opulence and warmth to any space. Interestingly, while the Versilia name is famously associated with the Apuan Alps in Italy, this Turkish variety offers a unique Mediterranean warmth that bridges classical elegance with modern design.
