Inspiration

Grigio Collemandina is a sophisticated Italian marble quarried from the Garfagnana region of Tuscany, specifically near the village of Villa Collemandina. It features an intense, charcoal-to-taupe grey background accented by a dramatic network of fine white and occasionally gold veining that resembles lightning bolts. This high-density stone is prized for its exceptional polish and contemporary aesthetic, making it a favorite for luxury flooring and book-matched wall installations. Interestingly, the same quarries historically produced the rare Rosso Collemandina; as extraction moved deeper into the Jurassic-era rock layers, the material transitioned from a vibrant ruby red to the elegant grey tones seen today.
