Marble
Ombra Di Caravaggio
Ombra di Caravaggio is a sophisticated marble primarily quarried in the Zlatibor District of Serbia, though it is often associated with Italian design. This natural stone is defined by its dramatic, deep brown to charcoal background, which is artistically fractured by intense, sweeping veins of copper-orange, red, and smoky gray. Its name pays homage to the famous Baroque artist Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, reflecting the "chiaroscuro" or high-contrast play of light and shadow found in his masterpieces. With a high density and unique brecciated structure, it offers both durability and a bold, painterly aesthetic for luxury interiors and custom furnishings.
