Marble
Paonazzo Rosato
Paonazzo Rosato is a rare and dramatic Italian marble, primarily quarried in the prestigious Carrara region of Tuscany. This exquisite stone is defined by its luminous ivory-white background, electrified by a high-contrast brecciated pattern. Its intricate veining travels a stunning spectrum from deep charcoal and violet to warm gold and caramel, often appearing as a "peacock feather" effect. Renowned since antiquity, this marble was notably used for the columns of the Hadrian Mausoleum and remains a favorite for luxury statement pieces. Interestingly, its name derives from the Italian word pavone, referencing the iridescent, multi-colored transitions found in its unique mineral structure.
