With thick black bands sweeping in long, nearly parallel strokes over a bright white field, Panda White has an almost zebra-like boldness, translated by Infinity Surfaces into a marble-effect porcelain slab. Its polished finish sharpens the black-and-white contrast, and the pattern recalls the Chinese stone known as Panda marble.

About Panda White

Few marble looks are as direct as this one. The black veins run in wide ribbons with thinner gray threads between them, and the white stays clean rather than creamy, so the pattern reads almost like brushwork. Because the bands have a clear direction, planning cuts so they flow across seams, or wrap an island's waterfall ends, makes the most of a 162 x 324 cm (63¾ x 127½ in) slab.

In its 12 mm Polished form, with non-rectified edges, Panda White is ready to be fabricated into statement islands, waterfall counters and tabletops; Infinity sees it chiefly as a material for design-led furniture. It also makes a strong vanity wall. The porcelain takes up very little moisture and resists heat and scratching; everyday care is a wipe with neutral detergent and a soft cloth.
