About Calacatta Viola

Infinity modeled Calacatta Viola on one of the more theatrical natural marbles. Plum and violet-gray veining clusters into thick, irregular shapes, leaving pockets of warm white between them, and fine golden nuances run through the darker areas. Because the pattern is so active, it tends to work best on large, simple planes where it serves as the focal point rather than competing with other materials.

Each finish is produced at 12 mm, in a 162 x 324 cm (63¾ x 127½ inches) sheet whose edges are non-rectified. With Polished, the purple deepens and gains reflection; Levigato Pearl, an Infinity finish, is velvety and gently reflective, closer to the touch of honed marble. The porcelain resists heat, scratches and chemicals, and a neutral detergent is all routine cleaning requires. Typical settings include statement islands, powder rooms, bathroom walls and hospitality interiors.
