Holos Vik Black

Product code HL02

Charcoal-black tesserae flecked with white make up Holos Vik Black, where ringed circles of lighter gray, large and small, scatter across a dense dark ground. The mosaic-effect porcelain slab by Infinity Surfaces takes its mood from remote landscapes of dark, heavy stone: the speckled texture gives the black real material weight.

About Holos Vik Black

Vik Black is the dark counterpart in the Holos family. The mosaic is generated by digital printing, so the slab shows the busy rhythm of many small pieces while remaining a single sheet of porcelain. White flecks lend the black a slight gray bloom, which keeps large areas from reading as a flat void and gives the pattern a graphic, architectural edge suited to projects that call for rigor and intensity.

Modul Marble lists the slab at 6 mm with rectified edges, a Matte finish and a 160 x 320 cm (63 x 127 in) format. Infinity recommends the thin gauge for wall coverings, residential and commercial floors and furnishing elements. Firing at high temperature gives the porcelain good resistance to scratches, heat and chemicals, and its low-absorption surface supports hygienic cleaning. It suits bathroom walls, commercial feature walls and dark accents beside pale stone.
