About Santos

Onyx is prized for its banding and the way it holds light, and Santos (OC06) captures both qualities in Infinity porcelain. Broad green areas are outlined by seams of honey, amber and gold, so the surface resembles stone fragments held together by warm mineral veins. Infinity describes the effect as sculptural and decorative, intended for interiors where material and color carry the design.

Santos is supplied as a 12 mm Polished slab, 162 x 324 cm (63¾ x 127½ in), with non-rectified edges, and the polished face brings out reflections in the veining. As porcelain, it keeps the onyx look without the softness of the natural stone, absorbing little water and resisting scratches, heat and chemicals according to Infinity; routine care is limited to mild detergent and a soft cloth. Its most natural role is decorative: an accent wall, a vanity top or a piece of custom furniture.
