About Fossil

Fossil is part of Arkèon, the Infinity platform that gathers large-format surfaces developed for architecture, interiors and furnishings, several of them with outside designers. G. Bavuso's design weighs the solidity of stone against fine detail: the background stays light and consistent, while scattered mineral marks keep the face from looking flat. Like the rest of the Infinity range, the slab is made from natural raw materials and fired at high temperature.

Specified at 12 mm with a Matte finish, Fossil comes in a 162 x 324 cm (63¾ x 127½ in) format with non-rectified edges. The manufacturer reports strong resistance to scratches, heat, impact and chemical agents, and day-to-day upkeep calls for nothing more than a mild, neutral cleaner and a soft cloth. The low-glare surface is a natural fit for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and full-height walls in homes and contract projects.
