About Metal Dark

Infinity's metal effects draw on the way steel, corten and other metals change as they age and oxidize. Metal Dark sits at the moody end of that range: a dark, mottled base with brushed-looking striations, broken here and there by rusty veining. On a full slab the lengthwise movement suggests panels of aged sheet metal, giving walls, counters and furniture an industrial character.

For fabrication, the 12 mm Matte slab comes in 162 x 324 cm (63¾ x 127½ in) with non-rectified edges. Infinity says its metal-effect surfaces pair high resistance with easy cleaning, and it recommends them for busy commercial settings, naming bars, restaurants, boutiques and showrooms. The same slab can become a kitchen countertop, tabletop or custom furniture surface, and a soft cloth with neutral detergent covers routine care.
