Travertino Chiaro

Travertino Chiaro (SE09) draws on vein-cut travertine, in which the stone shows parallel striations rather than the cloudy figure of cross-cut slabs. Infinity renders these bands in light beige and soft gray, a versatile middle ground that works with warm woods as easily as with cool metals. A Matte finish keeps the surface understated and close to the honed stone it references, and the linear grain gives walls and floors a clear sense of direction.

Infinity produces this design at 12 mm in Matte, in a 162 x 324 cm (63¾ x 127½ in) slab with non-rectified edges. Because the porcelain is made from natural raw materials fired at high temperature, it is highly resistant to scratching, heat and chemical agents, and low porosity keeps maintenance to a neutral detergent and soft cloth. Running the stripes vertically on a wall emphasizes the height of a room; showers, kitchens and living areas all suit it.
