Petrified Wood Multicolour

PETRIFIED WOOD

In Petrified Wood Multicolour, honey-gold cores ringed in black, smoky blue-gray and white crystal give each cross section an almost agate-like depth. This fossil wood slab mixes more tones than the single-color grades, and a Retro version lays the same material out in rectangles of caramel, rust, cream and gray.

Material: Petrified wood
Custom size: Up to 320 x 190 x 2 cm

About Petrified Wood Multicolour

Ancient wood turned to stone here as minerals, chiefly silica, filled and replaced its cells; the different impurities taken up along the way explain why one log is golden and its neighbor has a charcoal rim. The pieces are selected and fitted by hand so these contrasts are spread evenly across the slab rather than clustered.

The Classic round-cut layout is bold enough to anchor a room on a fireplace breast, a bar or a feature wall, while the Retro grain layout sits more easily on kitchen islands and tabletops. The default build is 2 cm thick, a 0.6 to 4 cm range is available, and every slab is sized to order within 320 x 190 cm. Coasters and a soft, damp cloth are enough to keep the polish clear. Both layouts can be specified through Modul Marble.
