New arrival. Arabescato Orobico Rosso just came into our Los Angeles yard.
Arabescato Orobico Rosso is a 2 cm bordeaux, brown, grey, and gold marble, offered in a polished finish. Lot 18207 measures about 120″ × 79″, with 14 slabs available and one on hold at our Los Angeles yard.
This slab
The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 120″ × 79″, about 66 square feet. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is bordeaux, brown, grey, and gold. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade.
The polished finish is reflective and lets the color read clearly. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

Where it works
For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed.
The material
Marble is a metamorphic stone, recrystallized from limestone, and it is valued for veining and a luminous surface. It is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or quartzite, so wine, citrus, and strong cleaners can etch a polish. That is why it is a classic for bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, and walls, and for kitchens when the owner wants the look and will live with a natural patina. A honed face shows etching less than a high polish. Vein direction should be planned on the actual slabs before fabrication.
About Arabescato Orobico Rosso
Arabescato Orobico Rosso is a dramatic and historic Italian marble quarried in the Lombardy region, specifically within the Orobic Alps. This stone is celebrated for its intense, swirling palette that blends deep reds, warm burgundies, and soft pinks with classic taupe and charcoal veining. Its bold, fluid patterns create a sense of natural artistry, making it a premier choice for high-impact interior features like waterfall islands and architectural focal points. Interestingly, this marble’s unique character is a result of geological formations dating back 225 million years, originating from ancient tropical lagoons and coral reefs.
