Ceppo Cream, also known as Ceppo Cremo or Ceppo Romano, is a prestigious Turkish marble prized for its warm, neutral palette of beige and ivory. This natural stone is characterized by a unique brecciated or conglomerate structure, featuring a harmonious mosaic of pebble-like inclusions and darker grey blotches. Its sophisticated "natural terrazzo" aesthetic makes it a favorite for modern interiors, offering a timeless balance of style and durability for flooring, wall cladding, and high-end countertops. Interestingly, while its appearance mimics the iconic Italian Ceppo di Gre, this variety offers a softer, creamier alternative that adds a luminous, contemporary touch to any space.
This is a new arrival of Ceppo Cream at our Los Angeles yard.
On hand at our Los Angeles yard: 21 available slabs of Ceppo Cream, a 2 cm cream with semi-white, white, beige, brown, grey, and gold marble from Turkey in a honed finish. Lot M1721 measures about 109″ × 80″, with one slab on hold.
This slab
The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 109″ × 80″, about 61 square feet. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is cream with semi-white, white, beige, brown, grey, and gold. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Turkey.
The honed finish is smooth and matte, without a high gloss. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

Where it works
For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed. Inspiration photos show this stone in a Bathroom.
The material
Marble is a metamorphic stone, recrystallized from limestone, and it is valued for veining and a luminous surface. It is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or quartzite, so wine, citrus, and strong cleaners can etch a polish. That is why it is a classic for bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, and walls, and for kitchens when the owner wants the look and will live with a natural patina. A honed face shows etching less than a high polish. Vein direction should be planned on the actual slabs before fabrication.
