Cielo Artico is a sophisticated white marble quarried from the rich geological landscapes of Turkey. True to its name, which translates to Arctic Sky, this natural stone is defined by a luminous, cool white background that evokes the pristine clarity of polar regions. It is characterized by a delicate crystalline structure and a refined network of soft grey or bluish-grey veining that mimics the appearance of wispy clouds or cracked ice. This high-density marble is prized for its ability to take a brilliant polish, enhancing its natural translucency. While often compared to classic Italian varieties, Cielo Artico offers a distinct, modern coolness that makes it a premier choice for luxury interiors, from expansive flooring to statement vertical surfaces. Its formation as a metamorphic rock ensures a unique fingerprint for every slab, ensuring that no two installations are ever identical.
Slabs of Cielo Artico in lot FZ3A01 run from 104″ × 74″ to 114″ × 74″. This is 2 cm white marble quarried in Turkey with a honed finish, and 30 slabs are available and 3 are on hold at our Los Angeles yard.
This slab
The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 114″ × 74″, about 59 square feet. Sizes across the lot run from 104″ × 74″ to 114″ × 74″. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is white. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Turkey.
The honed finish is smooth and matte, without a high gloss. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.
In the yard
Lot FZ3A01 at our Los Angeles yard shows 33 slabs in stock, 3 slabs on hold, and 30 slabs available. Available means in stock minus slabs on hold.
The slabs can be compared in daylight at our Los Angeles yard before anything is cut.
Where it works
For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed. Inspiration photos show this stone in a Bathroom and an Accent Wall.
The material
Marble is a metamorphic stone, recrystallized from limestone, and it is valued for veining and a luminous surface. It is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or quartzite, so wine, citrus, and strong cleaners can etch a polish. That is why it is a classic for bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, and walls, and for kitchens when the owner wants the look and will live with a natural patina. A honed face shows etching less than a high polish. Vein direction should be planned on the actual slabs before fabrication.
