New arrival. Emperador Light just came into our Los Angeles yard.
Emperador Light is a 2 cm cream with brown marble from Turkey, offered in a polished finish. Lot K5998 runs from 119″ × 56″ to 121″ × 65″, with 43 slabs available at our Los Angeles yard.
This slab
The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 121″ × 65″, about 55 square feet. Sizes across the lot run from 119″ × 56″ to 121″ × 65″. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is cream with brown. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Turkey.
The polished finish is reflective and lets the color read clearly. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

Where it works
For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed.
The material
Marble is a metamorphic stone, recrystallized from limestone, and it is valued for veining and a luminous surface. It is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or quartzite, so wine, citrus, and strong cleaners can etch a polish. That is why it is a classic for bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, and walls, and for kitchens when the owner wants the look and will live with a natural patina. A honed face shows etching less than a high polish. Vein direction should be planned on the actual slabs before fabrication.
About Emperador Light
Emperador Light is a world-renowned Turkish marble, primarily quarried in the regions of Bursa, Afyon, and Burdur. This elegant natural stone is defined by its sophisticated palette of creamy beige and light brown tones, artfully interlaced with a delicate network of white arborescent veining. Often referred to as Bursa Light or Turkish Light Emperador, it offers a softer, more luminous alternative to its darker Spanish counterpart. Its fine-grained structure and low water absorption make it a premier choice for high-end interior applications, including polished flooring, intricate mosaics, and luxurious vanities. Interestingly, its "spider-web" movements are so prized that they are frequently used as a benchmark for quality in stone design.
