Inspiration

Gascogne Blue, also known as Moleanos Azul or Azul Valverde, is a prestigious limestone primarily quarried in the Alcanede region of Portugal. This natural stone is celebrated for its sophisticated blue-gray to charcoal tonality, accented by a fine-to-medium grain and a delicate scattering of small fossils. Its dense, compact structure provides exceptional durability, making it a global favorite for high-traffic flooring, elegant wall cladding, and exterior facades. Interestingly, the stone is extracted from the Serra de Aire e Candeeiros, a region featuring over 1,500 caves, which contributes to the unique mineral and fossil diversity found within every slab.
