Inspiration

Gris St Etienne, also known as Melly Grey or Nile Grey, is a sophisticated Egyptian limestone prized for its modern, neutral palette. Characterized by a cool grey to charcoal base, it often features delicate fossilized shell fragments and organic veining that provide a unique geological depth. This resilient sedimentary stone is formed from ancient Nile Valley deposits, resulting in a dense structure suitable for high-traffic flooring, wall cladding, and pool surrounds. Interestingly, despite its contemporary aesthetic, this material belongs to the same lineage of Egyptian limestones that have shaped architectural history since the building of the Great Pyramids.
