On hold at our Los Angeles yard: Super White, a 2 cm white dolomite from Brazil in a polished finish. Lot QZ71800 measures about 117″ × 70″.

This slab

The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 117″ × 70″, about 57 square feet. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is white. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Brazil.

The polished finish is reflective and lets the color read clearly. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

In the yard

Lot QZ71800 at our Los Angeles yard shows one slab in stock, one slab on hold, and none currently available. Available means in stock minus slabs on hold. One slab is marked clearance.

Where it works

For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, and light-use counters. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed. Inspiration photos show this stone in a Kitchen and a Bathroom.

The material

Dolomite is a carbonate stone. In the showroom it is often grouped with marble, and many bright white names are dolomite rather than calcite marble. It is generally a little harder than calcite marble, but it can still etch, so care is closer to marble than to granite. Judge movement and brightness from the slab, not from the name alone.

About Super White

Super White is a visually stunning natural stone from Brazil that occupies a unique position in interior design. Frequently referred to as Grey Goose or White Fantasy, it is often mistaken for marble due to its sophisticated white background and dramatic grey veining. However, it is geologically a dolomite, making it significantly harder and more durable than traditional marble. This metamorphic stone offers excellent resistance to heat and scratches, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas like kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities. Interestingly, its dense crystalline structure provides a lower porosity, which helps it outperform standard marbles in stain resistance.
