Lot 260469 is one slab of 2 cm Titanium Travertine travertine, from Italy, in a leather finish. The slab measures about 108″ × 72″ and is currently on hold at our Los Angeles yard.

This slab

The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 108″ × 72″, about 54 square feet. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is brown with white, black, grey, and gold. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Italy.

The leather finish is lightly textured, with a softer look than a full polish. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

Where it works

For this kind of stone, the usual applications are floors, showers, and wall cladding. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed. Inspiration photos show this stone in a Kitchen.

The material

Travertine is a form of limestone, often with natural pits and linear bands. Filled travertine has those voids filled for a smoother face. Unfilled travertine keeps the holes. It is widely used for floors, showers, and wall cladding. Shade can shift from cream to gold to silver within one name, so the lot on hand is the one to approve.

About Titanium Travertine

Titanium Travertine is a sophisticated Italian natural stone that breaks the mold of traditional tan travertines with its deep, dramatic palette. It features a striking fusion of dark chocolate brown, charcoal gray, and warm beige, often accented by horizontal, cloud-like silver veins. This sedimentary stone is formed through the rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate, resulting in its signature porous texture and remarkable thermal regulation properties. Its bold, linear movement makes it a premier choice for contemporary feature walls, luxury flooring, and fireplace surrounds. Interestingly, the natural pits and voids characteristic of this stone are a result of gas bubbles trapped during its formation near geothermal springs, and they are often filled with color-matched resins to create a sleek, durable surface while preserving its organic complexity.
