Lot K26350402 is a 10-slab run of 2 cm Ceppo Murano marble, from Turkey, in a polished finish. The slabs run from 112″ × 77″ to 117″ × 77″, with 9 slabs available and one on hold at our Los Angeles yard.

This slab

The recorded size of a slab in this lot is 116″ × 77″, about 62 square feet. Sizes across the lot run from 112″ × 77″ to 117″ × 77″. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is brown. Natural stone still varies inside that description, so the slab itself is the reference for movement and shade. This material is recorded as quarried in Turkey.

The polished finish is reflective and lets the color read clearly. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

Where it works

For this kind of stone, the usual applications are bathrooms, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed. Inspiration photos show this stone in a Powder and a Kitchen.

The material

Marble is a metamorphic stone, recrystallized from limestone, and it is valued for veining and a luminous surface. It is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or quartzite, so wine, citrus, and strong cleaners can etch a polish. That is why it is a classic for bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, and walls, and for kitchens when the owner wants the look and will live with a natural patina. A honed face shows etching less than a high polish. Vein direction should be planned on the actual slabs before fabrication.

About Ceppo Murano

Ceppo Murano is a sophisticated Turkish marble characterized by its warm, earthy brown palette and distinctive brecciated structure. This natural stone features a captivating mosaic of irregular fragments and "pebble-like" inclusions, creating a rhythmic, textured appearance that mirrors the complexity of natural geological formations. Its deep honey and chocolate tones are often accented by subtle grey or ivory veins, providing a multi-dimensional aesthetic that bridges the gap between classical elegance and modern architectural design. Highly versatile, it is a premier choice for high-end interior flooring, wall cladding, and bespoke furniture. Interestingly, the name "Ceppo" is derived from the Italian word for "rock with pebbles," historically referring to specific conglomerate stones from Lombardy, though this Turkish variety offers a unique marbleized take on that iconic aesthetic.
