Sorano is a 2 cm grey quartz from Vietnam, offered in a polished finish. Lot 71019 runs from 119″ × 55″, with one slab available at our Los Angeles yard.

This slab

Sizes across the lot run from 119″ × 55″. Thickness is 2 cm. The color on record is grey. The recorded source is Vietnam.

The polished finish is reflective and lets the color read clearly. Two centimeters is a standard slab thickness for counters, vanities, and wall cladding.

In the yard

Lot 71019 at our Los Angeles yard shows one slab in stock, none on hold, and one slab available. Available means in stock minus slabs on hold.

With one slab available, it suits a project that can be cut from a single piece.

Where it works

For this kind of stone, the usual applications are kitchen countertops and vanities. The right use still depends on the finish, the thickness, and how the slab will be cared for after it is installed.

The material

Engineered quartz is a manufactured surface, mostly ground quartz bound with resin. It is non-porous, consistent from piece to piece, and used for kitchen counters and vanities. It should be protected from extreme direct heat, unlike most granite. The pattern is designed, so slabs in a lot are made to coordinate.
