About Agate Rubane
Compared with most other agates, Rubane is built from smaller, more angular pieces, so the slab reads like a dense pebble mosaic rather than a pattern of large slices. Look closer and nearly every fragment carries tight, parallel bands, the layered chalcedony structure that defines agate, in white, blue-gray and near-black. There are two versions: the standard composition and Rubane With Gold, where gold inlay surrounds each hand-placed piece and draws out the orange and caramel accents.
A fine pattern like this stays legible across large areas, which suits full-height walls, reception desk fronts and long bar fronts, as well as backlit panels where the shift from cool gray to amber can be put to deliberate use. Pricing covers only the area required, because every slab is laid out to the project's own measurements, to a ceiling of 320 x 190 cm; thickness options span 0.6 to 4 cm, though most slabs are 2 cm. On a reception desk, prompt wiping with a neutral cleaner keeps drinks and ink from lingering on the surface.
