Quartz Chocolate

Quartz is a crystalline mineral, and in slab form its pieces let light travel into the surface, which gives this slab a layered, glowing depth. Golden and caramel crystals mix with cloudy white areas and darker brown streaks, all cut and fitted by hand into an irregular mosaic. A variant with gold-colored inlay lines between the stones adds a fine metallic outline.

Translucency is the main reason to choose it. Backlit, the slab's warm tones intensify into amber and orange, which makes it a strong candidate for illuminated bar fronts, island panels and feature walls. Custom panels can reach 320 x 190 cm, and while 2 cm is standard, thicknesses from 0.6 to 4 cm are also possible. Scouring pads and strong chemicals should be kept off the surface; a neutral cleaner is all it needs. Modul Marble can source it, including the gold version.
