Jasper Fancy

Jasper is a dense, opaque member of the quartz family, and its colors come from minerals locked in as it formed. In Fancy, brick and wine reds dominate, interrupted by shards of bottle green and gray-green, while chalky white inclusions add small points of contrast. Sharp-edged pieces are cut and fitted together by hand, so the pattern changes from one slab to the next.

Production is at a standard 2 cm, with other thicknesses available between 0.6 and 4 cm along with custom dimensions up to 320 x 190 cm; shaped pieces can also be cut to a design. With no translucency to exploit, the slab works best under good front lighting on surfaces seen up close: bar tops, reception desks, a powder room vanity or a furniture inlay. A neutral cleaner and a soft cloth handle day-to-day upkeep. Modul Marble can place the order.
