Agate Sabara

Each Sabara slab is pieced together by hand from cross-cut agate slices, many with frosty white crystal cores surrounded by bands of olive, moss green and chestnut brown. Some pieces carry a single splash of saturated green near the center while others are ringed in amber, so the surface has plenty of incident without losing its green-and-white balance. In Sabara Light Giant the slices are bigger and paler and outlined in near-black, which reads as calmer and more graphic from a distance.

Both versions can be backlit, and both work as illuminated walls behind a tub or a freestanding basin, settings where the greens sit well with plants and warm metal fittings. Bathroom panels are produced to fit, up to 320 x 190 cm, at a standard 2 cm or anywhere from a slim 0.6 cm to a heavier 4 cm.
