About Aventurine

Tiny platy inclusions inside the quartz give aventurine its green, and they can lend some pieces a soft glint as the viewing angle shifts. Irregular plates of the stone are assembled by hand, so no two areas of the slab repeat. The standard grade has gray-green veils and creamy streaks; the darker grade leans toward emerald, with near-black seams between the pieces.

With quartz as its base, aventurine is a practical candidate for horizontal surfaces such as vanity tops and island counters as well as walls, provided the bonded face is cleaned with mild, non-acidic products and protected from hot cookware. Standard production is 2 cm thick, with thinner and thicker options from 0.6 to 4 cm, and panels are cut to order up to 320 x 190 cm.
